When is it possible to visit the Castello del Gallo and the Gardens of Horace?
Visits are available on official opening days, periodically published on the website. Groups of 15 or more people can also book outside of the standard dates, agreeing with us on a custom date.
How do I book a visit?
Individual visitors can purchase tickets online (up to 14 in one transaction) through the dedicated section. Organized groups (schools, agencies, parties) must fill out the form in the dedicated section to receive a personalized proposal.
Do children pay admission?
Accompanied children under 12 enter free of charge and do not require a ticket.
How long does the visit last?
The guided tour lasts approximately 45 minutes, and includes both the tour inside the Castle and the Church of San Vincenzo Ferrer. The exploration of the Gardens of Orazio lasts approximately 90 minutes.
Are pets allowed?
For safety and security reasons, small dogs are allowed on a leash and with poop bags.
Is it possible to have the guided tour in English?
Yes, guided tours in English are always available, upon request.
Is the route accessible to people with disabilities?
Some areas, due to the historical and natural conformation of the place, may present difficulties of access. We invite you to contact us in advance to evaluate together the feasibility of the visit.
In case of bad weather?
Visits to the Castle and the Church are always guaranteed. In the event of particularly adverse weather conditions (storms, warnings, impassability of the route), the visit to the Gardens may be postponed or cancelled at the discretion of the organization, for safety reasons. In this case, users will be contacted by email to agree on a new date, or will receive a full refund of the ticket purchased.
Can I take photos during the visit?
Yes, photos are allowed for personal use and without flash. For photo shoots or professional filming, prior authorization is required.
Refund Policy
Purchased tickets are non-refundable unless cancelled by the organization. In case of inability to participate, it is possible to request a change of date with at least 48 hours notice, subject to availability.
Can I rent the site for a private event?
Yes, Castello del Gallo and the Orazio Gardens are available exclusively for weddings, corporate events, photo shoots, video shoots and cultural initiatives. Fill out the form in the dedicated section and we will be happy to evaluate your request.
