Consent

By making a purchase on the castellodegallo.it website, the user confirms that he/she is at least 16 years old. If he/she is between 14 and 16 years old, he/she declares that consent to the processing of data has been provided by a parent or guardian, as required by art. 8 of European Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR). With the confirmation of the order, the purchase contract is considered concluded.

Engagements

The management of the Orazio Gardens and the Castello del Gallo undertakes to make the purchased experience available, to be enjoyed on the day and at the time chosen, according to the methods specified at the time of booking.

Right of withdrawal

Please be advised that the service purchased through this site does not provide for the right of withdrawal, in accordance with art. 59, paragraph 1, letter n of Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code), as these are activities related to leisure time that are provided on a specific date and time. For any aspect not expressly covered in these terms, reference is made to the provisions of Legislative Decree 185/1999, the Consumer Code and, where applicable, the Civil Code.

Refunds

Refund requests will be considered only in the event of extraordinary closure of the Castello del Gallo or the Giardini di Orazio. The management reserves the right to suspend visits without notice in the following cases:

  • Extraordinary and unforeseeable events (force majeure)
  • Obligations arising from current legislation
  • Technical issues that compromise the experience
  • Emergency situations that could put the safety of visitors or facilities at risk
  • Particularly adverse weather conditions

NB: Refund requests that do not fall within the cases listed above will not be considered valid.

In the event of a closure for one of the reasons listed above, visitors in possession of a valid ticket will be guaranteed an alternative: the possibility of rescheduling the visit or receiving a full or partial refund. If the visit was prevented or interrupted for reasons not attributable to the visitor, the latter will receive an email within 24 hours with instructions for accessing the scheduled refreshment area. The visitor will be able to choose between two options:

  • Good of equal value
    An electronic code equal to the amount spent, usable for a new booking, without expiry and valid for a single transaction.

  • Financial Refund
    Re-credit of the corresponding amount, made using the same payment method used at the time of purchase.

In both cases, the customer must ensure that they provide a valid and working email address. Refund times can take up to 10 business days, depending on the technical times of the banks or payment systems.

Data Protection

The sensitive data used for the transaction (card number, expiration date, security code) are managed securely through encrypted protocols and are never stored or viewed by the staff of castellodelgallo.it
