Consent

By making a donation on the castellodegallo.it website, the user confirms to be at least 16 years old. If they are between 14 and 16 years old, they declare that consent to data processing has been provided by a parent or guardian, as required by Article 8 of European Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR). Upon order confirmation, the donation is considered concluded.

Commitments

The management of the Gardens of Horace and Castello del Gallo undertakes to make the purchased experience available, to be enjoyed on the chosen day and time, according to the methods specified at the time of booking.

EXCLUSION FROM THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

Please note that the service purchased on the website www.castellodelgallo.it is excluded from the right of withdrawal, pursuant to Article 59, paragraph 1, letter n of Legislative Decree 6 September 2005, number 206 (Consumer Code), as it relates to "contracts for the supply of services relating to accommodation, transport, catering, leisure activities, when at the time of the conclusion of the contract the supplier undertakes to provide such services on a specific date or within a predetermined period."

For anything not expressly regulated in these Terms and Conditions of Purchase, reference is made to the provisions of Legislative Decree 22 May 1999, n.185 as well as the Consumer Code, and the applicable provisions of the Civil Code.

Refunds

Refund requests are considered exclusively in case of extraordinary closure of Castello del Gallo or the Gardens of Horace. The management reserves the right to suspend visits without notice in the following cases:

  • Extraordinary and unforeseeable events (force majeure)
  • Obligations arising from current regulations
  • Technical problems compromising the experience
  • Emergency situations that could jeopardize the safety of visitors or structures
  • Particularly adverse weather conditions

NB: Refund requests not falling within the cases listed above will not be considered valid.

Should a closure occur for one of the reasons indicated above, visitors holding a valid entry ticket will be guaranteed an alternative: the possibility to reschedule the visit or receive a full or partial refund.

Data Protection

Sensitive data used for the transaction (card number, expiration date, security code) are managed securely through encrypted protocols and are never stored or displayed by castellodelgallo.it staff.
